This earlobe belongs to a 24 year-old lady who developed a keloid over a year’s time after her earlobe was pierced. While it was not causing pain, it was steadily enlarging. The keloid was treated by a series of steroid injections and massage. We then excised the lesion in the office. This is a six-week post-operative result. The appearance is excellent, and there is no sign that the keloid has recurred.
