This patient has a sizeable basal cell carcinoma of the right nasal sidewall. We excised the lesion in the operating room so that the patient could receive sedation. A pathologist reviewed the lesion to be sure that all of it was removed prior to any reconstruction. The resulting defect by transferring skin from the right cheek, adjacent to his nose. No revision procedures were performed. His postoperative photos were taken six weeks following the surgery. His scars are hidden at the junction of the nasal sidewall and the nasal dorsum and at the junction of the nasal sidewall and the alar groove. By hiding the scars in the natural contours of the nose, his scars become indistinguishable.
